scav gun concept art

 

Trying some concept art for a first person shooter set in the backrooms. theres some nice concepts, but as simplicity is always best i will make a simpler version to make in blender.

After some more concepting i started arriving at an idea.




The starting idea was to make an alof lever action revolver with an underbarrel shotgun. But the philosoph of the design was too overcomplicated and becoming ugly. Then i started focusing on a simple visual design, with focus less on functionality and more on being just cool and simple to understand. 

It is going to be a 2 handed revolver with and underbarrel shotgun that is reloaded sideways. I am going to probably make a lantern, an electric gun and a sawblade launcher.

The final interesting concepts. After some time you find an almost shared visual identity that ties stuff together. In the middle of the way theres always visually interesting elements, but they are either overdesigned or just dont fit with a vision

The most recent concent I have been developing is an art pipeline of making 3D Models into sprites, to facilitate creation of sprites while producing less work for the artist.

I was about making a 3D model in blender and using Cameras to render around the character.
